Place Value Pumpkin Patch

The Place Value Pumpkin Patch interactive bulletin board gave students the

opportunity to use their creativity, place value knowledge, and problem

 solving skills to create place value riddles. In addition, this interactive

 bulletin board reinforced what students had been learning and allowed

 them to practice and apply their knowledge and understanding in solving

 their fellow classmates place value riddles. This interactive bulletin board

 was used as a math center activity. The answers for the place value riddles

 were written on index cards and placed beneath the pumpkin. This allowed

 students to self-correct and try other place value riddles for further

reinforcement.
